The time has come...

Hey everyone! Sparkle-chan here! Sorry for never posting, I am a TERRIBLE worker. I've been meaning to post, but I rarely post now, even on my own blog. I rarely log in now. And now, onto the news. It's good or bad, depending on who you are and if you like me or not. I'm quitting blogging. I entered the blogging world with my first blog on February 24, 2011 when I was in 8th grade. Now I am a sophomore in high school (I know -.-' ) and it's been almost 2 years of blogging. It's been a great time, meeting new people and seeing new blogs. But it's come to the point where I am now very busy with school and other things. I plan to leave sometime in January or February, not exactly sure yet. But I do plan to have a goodbye party with AWARDS and PRIZES! I can't leave on a sad note now, can I? I will try my best to log in more. For more details, please visit my blog.

Update: Apparently.. this site is a scam, and Norton and AVG sucks for not knowing so..GO MCAFEE!!! c:

According to the post above, it says that the website has a virus, but to me it seems hard to believe that Norton did not catch it, since when I had Norton it blocked some of my downloads that were safe. (Probably because it was a program made with Microsoft Visual Basics and that it could have easily have a virus or something...) Do not go to it because they won't give you the prize and all they really want to do is have profits all to themselves(I don't see how though cause there isn't any ads). And if you do happen to get enough points for a prize, you would have to do a survey first. And if thats the only way they generate income, think about how much a company(AdSense,Adf.ly,etc.) would pay them in return for someone clicking on the company's ad?  On average(or to my guess) they would have only generated $0.0087(based on Adf.ly) to $0.03(based on AdSense). I know I am using Adf.ly and AdSense even though they don't do the surveys thing. Basically, I highly doubt they would make a profit if they gave you your prize. What do you think?

The answer says that they are able to stay free due to the surveys and ads on the website. I checked, and there was NO ads whatsoever. I find that suspicious since they mentioned there was ads on the website. Plus, they even added a thingy that is a comma except its at the top and not the bottom. So it wouldn't be called a comma. But anyways, it in the middle of the word 'ads'. I know people make mistakes though. and the donate page. You use Paypal to donate, and I don't know if they could even withdraw the money because to be able to use the donate button, it has to be for an nonprofit cause, and if nobody is getting rewarded, things aren't looking so non-profity.

AVG also says the website is safe.

Is your Computer Slow..?

Yes..This is one of those informative posts..

Your computer could be running slow because of viruses and other malware. Even if you think you don't have any. No program is perfect at everything, so just because you have(or don't have!) an antivirus program(a.k.a. AV program) doesn't mean you don't have malware. On my older PC, I have McAfee installed. It was up-to-date and all that, and I ran a full system scan, and McAfee came up with nothing. I used Stopzilla to do another full system scan, and it only found 14 threats. Bullguard only found 6 threats in a full scan that I canceled after 40 minutes. I decided to look on the web for a program to remove spyware and all that..

Why was I doing all the AV scans? It is because this 'professional'computer technician(she was remotely using my PC at the time..) installed this program and only did an AV scan on it, and it came up with 12 threats. She then said that they are critical threats and highly integrated into the system, even though she didn't even PEEP at what the threats were. SO there's the backstory. Back to what I was saying...

I found a program called SUPERAntiSpyware on CNET. After running a quick scan with it, it came up with 700 or so threats. And the best part(not saying having 700 malware is good..)? There is a free version of the program, so I was able to let it remove those threats. Most of the threats were small (although sometimes it did come up with a few critical ones!)  like adware and spyware cookies.  If your computer is so slow as to not be able to even RUN a quick scan, they have a checkbox option for highly infected computers(it is called 'Rescue Scan') just so you would be able to make a scan happen.

You have to admit though..some not so bright people come up with terrible definitions..Some words here may offend some people of either personal/religious ideas. This day was probably inevitable.. when I make a post about swag..or at least the definition of it on Urban Dictionary..

Here's a great definition from UD (Urban Dictionary):
The new generation's alternative word for "cool".

The new generation originally used swag to describe anyone thought to carry themselves in a way considered by some to be sexy / cool.
Note: considered to be retarded by many others.

Now it is used to describe anything thought to be cool, initiating the irk of previous generations and members of the new generation that disagree with new words.

A similar upset arose with "Groovy" v "cool". Groovy disappeared from the majority of vocabularies within 10 years, foreshadowing the fate of swag.

What di*s**ts who think they're cool say. Swag is basically the most overused term, mainly by fa**y "popular kids" who think that teenage angst will get them far in life. These kids have no life, and therefore need to kill themselves.

There are more bad definitions..

The most used word in the whole f**king universe. Do**** b**s use it, your kids use it, your mail man uses it, and your f****** dog uses it. If you got swag, you generally wear those sh***y hats side way, and your a** hanging out like a f***ing goof cause your pants are half way down your white a** legs. To break down the word, it means (Secretly We Are Gay). It is also a word that means to represent yourself/ the way you represent yourself, baggy clothes, sh***y hats, small p***s and basically a way to say your afraid to come out of the closet.

A stupid, retard excuse used by lame a** thugs and hipsters to justify the bulls**t style and f***ed up color matching they wear.

A stupid saying that's overused. And there's this one definition..The example is a *favorite*..

 just so you know what people mean when they tlk about their "swag"

Most of the time the definition of a word can be in the sentence in place of that word.

So here's the sentence again, with the definition instead.

So see, not much sense there...

So I was on my Iobit Installer, looking at the large programs installed on my computer, and to my surprise:



Google Chrome says it's the fastest browser, yet on my computer it has a large size. The other browsers I use(Firefox & IE 9)? Not on the list.

By the way..
